In the age of information, there are no wars. There are only rumors of war.
These writings are intended to illustrate to the reader that we inhabit a world with no starting point, no middle, and it is unclear if it has ended. When you first looked up from your iPhone and realized you didn’t recognize the world around you, where were you in the storyline? In the middle? Or has the ending already happened, and we are just beginning to digest it?
People today have search engine optimized consciousness. Their behaviors are monetized by tracking movement, and their spending habits are assessed to create new products that further enhance spending. And so goes the self-licking ice cream cone that is the 21st century.
What’s most intriguing about the time that we live in is not that the consumer’s metadata is the most sought-after commodity but that our opinion is the most solicited product in our economy. A squawk box constantly insists that you have an opinion that matters, one that should be heard. And the kicker? There’s no better outlet than theirs where your opinion should be informed.
So what’s happening then?
Suddenly individualism has morphed with altruism to create this neo-standard of virtue in the form of modern collectivism. Unsustainable levels of consumer groupthink have contaminated the reservoirs of truth we used to nourish our nation for the past 246 years.
Being a conservative isn’t necessarily mutually exclusive to being a republican; no more than being a libertarian is synonymous with advocating for unbridled and unregulated child labor laws. There are still complexities to these “alt” fringes that don’t warrant interpretation of unity amongst the left or right masses. Meanwhile, the liberal has abandoned progression for an all-out cultural revolution under the name of systematic justice. Whether the system was directly influenced or, in some cases, literally designed by the current hegemon on the left, there are calls for change for change’s sake. All in hopes for people who aren’t allowed to speak for themselves. If I lost you there, if you’re confused, it’s okay. Just understand, understanding isn’t the point. To quote a clairvoyant from a similarly lost age, ‘War is Peace, Freedom is Slavery, Ignorance is Strength.’
I’m suggesting that the current state of war, aptly named the Myopic Wars, is ubiquitously incomprehensible because of incongruent truths. The Myopic Wars don’t actually exist, they never have, and there’s no use in convincing anyone that they do because it contradicts the mode of delivery. Whether by foreign subversion or simple narcissistic folly, the consensus is unachievable because the institutions that once facilitated discussion to develop consensus now only emit the sub-audible frequency of cosmic virtue; altruism.
Therefore, denial and obscurity are the only ways of acknowledging the truth. Don’t use sarcasm either, that’ll give you away instantly. Only by withdrawing from partisan comprehension, commentary, and counter-offensive behavior will you serve up red pills to those perpetuating this cabal of cosmic neurosis. Endorse the groupthink with inquiry, define its edges, and be enthusiastic about discovering the nuances it can have in your daily life. This is The Upside Down; only by inverting yourself can you orient and truthfully witness and/or distinguish The Right Side Up.
Where does it end? Who caused this to happen? What’s the point of making sense in void of sense to be made?
Survival. Whether we’re in a state of agonal breathing as a civilization or emerging into a new higher or lower level of consciousness doesn’t matter. Survival is the reaction of all species when faced with a threat, and until salvation arrives, there’s a single state of play. The suggestions I spelled out above are just that – survival tips. Inverting yourself will not only orient you to recognize the threat of war, but it will also help you survive it. Remember, the left has abandoned its original epitomes for this Mass Formation Psychosis of perpetual doubt. As a reader of this message, you are still in possession of your facilities and likely desire to comprehend whatever it may be that’s causing such alarm.
This isn’t Gnosticism, and there are no pay-to-play rituals. What I’m suggesting is that to understand subversive efforts, you must first recognize that there’s been subversion. The issue with subversion is its effects aren’t always so obvious, and to become cognizant of how infested your surroundings have become, you must subvert (invert) yourself. Only then will you discover the opportunity to distinguish the threat, know when a threat is coming or near, and ultimately (hopefully) know where it has not impacted to gain refuge…
The Myopic Wars are wars of attrition. Loses are not measured by deaths; however, many deaths may and most likely will occur. These wars are fought and won by conjecture and plausible deniability. Myopic War victories were never considered wars in the first place, and events were indistinguishable from the consequence that resulted from them.
What I would like to achieve by creating this blog is to offer those who are suspicious of our current situation a portal to The Upside Down. Through sharing articles and submitting a commentary. Analysis of market trends and development of causation vs. correlation. All the value you’d expect from any typical news outlet, only this one is hosting a paradigm that we are in a steady and constant state of war with consciousness. I do not distinguish friend from foe as there are none in the Myopic War, only casualties.
If you’ve made it this far, I not only thank you, but I also applaud you for having the appetite to outlast my own near-constant stream of consciousness. I am not native to The Upside Down and do not endorse ethics used by members of the Church of The Sub Genius, Fox News, CNN, or The View. You should consider me as a simple caveman coming to you with the humblest desire to share my thoughts that hopefully resonate with your own. Please follow along and comment where applicable. This is a message in a bottle, hopeful someone will find a community just as isolated and confused as they are. Thanks again for reading and Godspeed in these Myopic Wars.
